The chief executive officer of Credit Suisse (Luxembourg), Stéphane Herrmann, has left the private bank after two years in the role.
His departure, which was first reported in the Swiss press, was confirmed to Citywire Selector by a spokesperson for the firm.
Herrmann has also relinquished his role as market leader Luxembourg IWM. The firm said it will appoint his successor in due course.
Raffael Gasser, IWM Northern Europe COO, will take on Hermann’s responsibilities effective from 3 December 2018.
He started at Credit Suisse in Singapore in 2010 where he led the private banking APAC business development teams. Gasser took on his current role as IWM Northern Europe COO in February 2017.
