According to internal analysis, domestic residential real estate acquisitions for a portfolio of 60% growth assets and 40% defensive assets have resulted in stable portfolio returns over the past 20 years with minimal losses during periods of risk aversion. However, if risk markets are doing well on the downside, management has greater upside potential in non-residential portfolios.
